This one is special to me, because I actually got to go to the James Beard House in NYC and delight in the meal of a chef vying for the coveted award. The pie is absolutely delicious, and the memories I get to share with my boys are in every bite.

The Food Experiment: An Angsty Black Woman on a Quest to fill her two teenage sons with some good home cookin' before they graduate high school and go running for the hills, never to eat a leaf of spinach again. Guess I'll throw in some desserts so they come back every once in a while. Cheers!
